Waifusion Community Update: Edition 6

Hello Waifu Lovers!

Last two weeks have been one of the most exciting and eventful since the project’s inception, including plans for a v2 collection, giveaways, crazy dungeon activity, renewed WET farm, and WET liquidity migration! You won’t want to miss this one!

Waifusion V2 Collection

You might have heard that we are planning on releasing a v2 Waifu collection! This will be a completely separate, community made collection. Check out some super early concept art from our artist:

There are a lot of aspects of v2 that are still to be decided, but here are a couple things you can expect:

Open for everyone, with a goal to onboard new buyers at a low initial price point
Drive demand and value for V1 instead of diluting it
Introduce new 🔥attributes and themes, taking the best of v1
New innovative and original mechanics 👀
Take into account community feedback as much as possible

We’ve also created a community feedback survey for V2 with 100 responses already (congrats again to the giveaway winners!), feel free to fill it in if you haven’t already or join our Discord and share your ideas there!

3 Month Dungeon Recap

It has been over 3 months since the dungeon has been added to Waifusion!
In the last two weeks we have seen the HIGHEST dungeon activity since the inception of the dungeon, here are the stats:

~400 Waifus rescued on ETH

~750 Waifus rescued on BSC

This puts us at only 2630 / 5884 Waifus left in the ETH dungeon and 10618 / 13068 Waifus left in the BSC dungeon.

Let’s look at some stats on Dungeon activity since inception:

ETH Dungeon Transactions since inception

The hype from the first week of the Dungeon was insane with over 2000 burned on the first day, but this also skews the chart a lot. This graph is with the first week cut out and better highlights recent dungeon interest:

The recent renewed interest in the dungeon has also driven floor price up to around 0.1 ETH, and while secondary market activity has mostly been floor purchases for burning, it has demonstrated consistent demand:

The BSC graph is a lot more balanced, and you can tell where we reduced the dungeon WET cost around May. With a fairly large initial dungeon size on BSC (13068), the limiting factor is actually floor availability, and this has driven the floor price up to over 0.3 BNB on secondary markets.

Snapshot Proposal — WET Liquidity Migration to Uniswap V3

Two weeks ago we created a new Snapshot Proposal to migrate our WET liquidity from SushiSwap to Uniswap V3.This is because we still haven’t been approved for Sushi Onsen rewards, and Uni V3 would increase the effectiveness of our current WET liquidity.

The vote passed 953–1:

Liquidity has now been migrated and all relevant links have been updated.
